About Us

Working together for a cause

As a small family business we like to support our local community. Starting in 2010 we had our Celtic Sea Salt packed by Synergy Group an Australian Disability Enterprise in their HACCP-certified facility. Following good manufacturing practices, they offered adults with disabilities fulfilling employment, supporting them in building confidence within a professional environment and empowering them to achieve goals they may have never thought possible. This is something that we have always been proud to support.

Tragically in October 2023, a fire destroyed their facility burning it to the ground, unable to rebuild leaving dozens of supported workers unemployed. In the wake of this loss, we have had the privilege of employing some of their supported workers in our open employment facility.

Tabatha came to us seeking employment shortly after the fire. Having dedicated 15 years to her role there, much of her work life revolved around packing Celtic Sea Salt—a task she hoped to continue in our HACCP certified premises. Bringing Tabatha on board was one of the best decisions we’ve made.

Nick had been with Synergy Group for seven years before the fire took away his job. After spending a challenging 12 months searching for employment, a local employment agency introduced him to us. It only took one trial day to see that Nick was a perfect fit for our team.

Like Nick, Paul had spent seven years with Synergy Group before circumstances changed his path. When he heard we were looking for staff, he reached out to us directly—and we couldn’t be happier that he did. Paul proved to be the perfect addition for our close-knit packing team.

Our talented packing team arrives each day with gratitude, enthusiasm and ready to tackle their tasks while enjoying each other’s company. We feel incredibly fortunate to have such dedicated and exceptional individuals contributing to our success.
